About Us

EMI Parts is a division of Euro Motor Industries, LLC.  Both were established in July 2013 with the purchase of Snitzel Brothers Foreign Car Parts Inc., a small Clinton, Connecticut based automotive parts supplier that had been in business since 1970.  EMI Parts will continue to serve the Connecticut shoreline area with excellent parts, most available the same day, and great customer service.

Andrew Bertelli, the owner of EMI Parts and a native of Clinton, was a frequent customer of Snitzel Brothers Foreign Car Parts, always fixing his MK2 Volkswagen Jetta.  After building a relationship with the owner as a customer, he was asked to join the company as an employee in 2005. During his employment he learned all of the details about the European and import automotive industry and established relationships with many quality suppliers.  He has owned everything from a 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel to a 2014 Volkswagen Passat and just about every model in between. He also has owned several Audi’s including a Q7, a UrS4, and a UrS6 avant.  He uses his insight and experience to help customers both retail and wholesale.  He is also very familiar with many BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, and Porsche models.

Julian Barrera, an essential part of EMI Parts, is a Colombian born resident of Old Saybrook. He studied to be an automotive tech in 2004 and began working at Volkswagen of Mystic in 2006. After working as a technician he transitioned to the parts department. Here he gained both a hands on and technical knowledge of VW and Audi parts. He started working at EMI Parts in 2014 where he quickly gained insight into all European and Import parts. He has owned an Audi 4000, two Audi 90 Quattro cars, two UrS6 cars, and maintained a 1998 Audi A6 as a daily driver for almost 10 years and 100,000 miles. When he’s not working his butt off at EMI Parts you’ll find him working on his 1995 BMW 318ti track car (with full M3 drivetrain swap) or at On Track Karting in Wallingford. You will probably see him at local high performance driving events including helping run a team in AER (American Endurance Racing). He is a self-described “gin enthusiast” and a fan of cars and racing in all forms.
